Season 2 adds four vehicles to WARDOGS, all on the Driver track: two versions of the Wolf-110, the T-72B3 tank and the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air vehicle. This guide covers what each costs, what you earn for destroying one, and how to get the most out of them. Detailed armour and weapon stats have not been published yet, so we stick to what is confirmed.
At a glance
| Vehicle | Role | Vendor price | Unlock | Reward for destroying one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wolf-110 | Fast light transport | $2,200 | Driver 8, $50,000 | $450 |
| Wolf-110 [M2 Browning] | Armed light vehicle | $7,800 | Driver 16, $125,000 | $3,900 |
| T-72B3 | Main battle tank | $16,000 | Driver 20, $250,000 | $8,000 |
| Flakpanzer Gepard | Anti-air | $14,000 | Driver 25, $300,000 | $7,000 |
The kill reward is worth knowing: it tells you what the enemy team earns if they take your vehicle out, and what you earn for taking theirs.
Wolf-110
The Wolf-110 is a fast, light wheeled transport and the first new vehicle most drivers will unlock. At $2,200 it is cheap enough to buy often.
Use it for: getting your squad to the fight quickly, flanking, and supply runs. Because it is cheap and only pays the enemy $450 if it is destroyed, it is a low-risk way to move people around.
Tips:
- Park it out of sight before you get out. A light vehicle is easy to lose to a single launcher.
- Season 2 pays extra for chaining deliveries, including bringing players to the fight, so a quick transport can earn you a lot over a match. See our logistics guide.
Wolf-110 [M2 Browning]
This is the Wolf-110 with a ring-mounted M2 Browning heavy machine gun. It unlocks at Driver 16 and costs $7,800.
Use it for: fire support. With a driver and a gunner, it can suppress infantry while your squad pushes, or chase down light vehicles.
Tips:
- It needs two people to work well: one driving, one on the gun. Agree who does what before you set off.
- The gunner is exposed on a ring mount, so keep moving and use terrain to break line of sight.
- It pays the enemy $3,900 if destroyed, far more than the unarmed version, so don’t throw it away.
T-72B3
The T-72B3 is a main battle tank. BULKHEAD describes it as slower than the L2A6 but cheaper and slightly more fuel-efficient. It costs $16,000 at Driver 20, compared with the L2A6, which now costs $22,000.
Use it for: a cheaper way to bring armour into the fight, and longer stays at the front thanks to the better fuel use.
Tips:
- Its lower speed means you need infantry with you. A tank alone is a big, slow target for anti-tank launchers.
- Being cheaper than the L2A6 makes it a sensible choice when your team’s cash is tight, which matters more now that the whole team is levelling up again after the wipe.
- Destroying one pays $8,000, so expect the enemy to prioritise it.
Flakpanzer Gepard
The Gepard is a dedicated anti-air vehicle at Driver 25, costing $14,000.
Use it for: protecting your team from enemy helicopters such as the Little Bird variants, the Z20 Lakota and the Havoc.
Tips:
- Position it where it covers the routes enemy helicopters use to reach the objective, not right on the front line.
- It is a specialist. If the enemy has no air threat, your money may be better spent elsewhere.
- Rain reduces spotting range for everyone, which affects anti-air crews too. Keep someone watching the sky rather than relying on spotting at long range.
Anti-air buildables were also rebalanced this season. The Talon 9K-SAM now reloads in 5 seconds instead of 2 and costs four times as much to restock, though it is cheaper to build (650 supplies). The Vanguard CIWS costs 1,200 supplies and takes 2.25 times longer to destroy the enemy spawn vehicle. That makes a mobile option like the Gepard more attractive.
SPH-2 and artillery
The SPH-2 artillery has moved from Wardog level 90 to Driver level 31, and its unlock has dropped from $500,000 to $350,000. Artillery now earns Driver XP, so it counts towards the same track as these vehicles.
Season 2 vehicle price changes
Several existing vehicles changed price too:
- L2A6: $14,000 to $22,000.
- Havoc: $18,000 to $28,000, with its unlock rising from $500,000 to $650,000.
- Little Bird AH-6M [Miniguns]: $7,000 to $12,000. Its unlock moved from Pilot level 4 to 8 and from $50,000 to $125,000.
- Humvee: unlock moved from level 15 to 14, but its unlock cost rose from $25,000 to $75,000.
- Ural Defender: unlock moved from level 18 to 15.
The pattern is clear: heavy vehicles cost more, and the new T-72B3 and Gepard give you cheaper ways to field armour and anti-air.
A note on teamwork
Every vehicle here works better with a crew who talk to each other. If you want people to drive, gun and support with, our squad nights are the easiest place to find them. For the rest of the update, see WARDOGS Season 2: everything new.
